Debashis Dutta , Director of BGS Group, an entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in the fields of Customs, Clearing & Forwarding, Warehousing, and Port. He started working under the able guidance of his late father, late Sri. Fani Dutta, who was a Former Director of the company, since 1993. He has been instrumental in the decision-making process of the company which has benefitted BGS group strategically. As the Former Chairman of the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI), he has demonstrated his leadership and vision for the industry. Under his direction, BGS Group has grown significantly and earned the name as one of the leading Custom Broker agencies in logistics sector of India.

Debashis Dutta is dedicated to providing the highest level of service for every shipment and ensuring that clients receive the best possible service through efficient professionalism. He works closely with each importer/exporter to understand their expectations and generate solutions that are functional, durable, and beneficial for the clients.

In 2018, he chaired the FIATA World Congress, which took place in India for the first time. Apart from his professional accomplishments, Debashis Dutta is also a sports enthusiast, serving as the General Secretary of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club.
He has also been recognized for his community service and has been rewarded as the Divisional Warden of West Bengal Civil Defence by the Government of West Bengal.
Directly he is proving his excellency as the President of the Bengal National Chamber Of Commerce and Industry, Logistics sub-committee members of Eastern Region of Confederation Industry of India, Managing committee of Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He plays an important role as an Advisor in the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India.
